Hi again, I'm trying to setup audit and krb5. I have a few questions about this: 1. It if necessary to have krb5 daemon up to work with audit? I used kadmin.local to add a principal and to add a keytab but when I try to start audit it says that no principal match was found. Can you please give me an example how can I set krb5 to work with auditd? Thx, Loredan

I think so.

If you do not have kerberos infrastracture setup, this might be a long talk. You might consider using a VPN to connect remote systems to the aggregator. OpenSwan or OpenVPN might be good choices. Then use the IP address given by the VPN for the aggregator. -Steve
