This worked, and I notice that with the changes to
system-config-audit/autogen.sh you suggested earlier, fewer M4 files
are placed in the distribution.
That is expected.
I also notice quite a few warning messages.
Most are caused by
the macros supplied by gettext and libtool, which use
obsolete constructs to be compatible with older autotools. I'm afraid
there is no way to avoid them, they can only be surpressed using -Wnone.
